Sérvulo co-hosted the 3rd IBA Global Professional Ethics Symposium

SÉRVULO co-hosted and took part in the 3rd International Bar Association Global Professional Ethics Symposium, held in Lisbon from 10 to 12 June 2026, alongside SRS Legal and Morais Leitão. The event brought together legal practitioners, academics, and industry leaders to discuss some of the key ethical challenges facing the legal profession.

As part of the programme, Ana Ferreira Neves, partner in the TMT department, spoke in the session “AI policies in law firms and legal departments”, where she shared her perspective on governance models and policies relating to the use of artificial intelligence systems in law firms, as well as their impact on legal practice. Sérvulo was also represented by Mariana Costa Pinto, partner in the Litigation, Life Sciences, TMT, and Intellectual Property departments.

The symposium provided an important forum for reflection and discussion on topics such as artificial intelligence, dispute resolution, professional responsibility, and the evolving role of lawyers in a changing legal landscape, also benefiting from the collaboration of Alessandra Nascimento S. F. Mourão in its organisation
